Google helping US voter through widgets and tools
The presidential elections in the USA are just days away and Google has launched a couple of tools to enable the web user to find out the places to register and cast their votes.
The first is the Google’s US Voter Info website which is a module loaded over their Google Maps service.
User can enter his home address and the service would then find out the relevant locations on the map itself.
They are also offering a web gadget which can be embedded into any web site or blog. This widget works similarly allowing the user to find out the nearest location for voting and registering.
