Google Android to get virtual keyboard
The first and the only Google Android powered device available in the market G1 comes with a slide out hardware keyboard.
Google seems to be working on a virtual version of the keyboard which can be used by the users to input data on the device.
Apple iPhone comes with a virtual keyboard and a lot of users now prefer that one to a regular one which adds bulk to the device.
Online reports states that a virtual keyboard could become possible in a future version of the Android mobile platform.
This could make it possible for mobile phone makers to ship devices without a hardware keypad.
