BMW Mini E coming to California, New Jersey and New York
BMW has announced that they would conduct real life testing of their Mini E model in California, New Jersey and New York.
The company would lease out 500 completely electric Minis in these cities.
BMW said: “By introducing the Mini E, the BMW Group is underscoring the resolve with which it works towards reducing energy consumption and emissions in road traffic.”
Mini E is not a bad vehicle at all. It offers battery range of 150 miles, a top speed of 95 mph and 0-60 mph in 8.5 seconds.
Only a two seater version would be available initially as most of the space in the car is taken up by batteries.
The car would cost the owner $850 a month.
