Dell has launched a new laptop model named Inspiron Mini 12 in the Japanese market.

It is going on sale through Bic Camera, Kujima and Sofmap retail chains in this market.

These machines are pre-configured and would be available starting next month.

This is the second Inspiron Mini machine from Dell. They had earlier launched Inspiron Mini 9 in the market.

This new model comes with a larger screen. Dell has loaded it with a Intel Atom Z520 1.33-GHz processor. Customers can also get it with a Z530 1.6-GHz 2-watt Menlo Silverthorn processor.

It also comes loaded with Intel’s GMA 500 integrated graphics chip. 1GB RAM is also standard.

Customers would have the option to pick from hard disks of sizes 40, 60, or 80GB.
