Cox Communications could become a mobile service provider
Cox Communications is said to be working on plans to become a mobile service provider.
The company is said to be building its own network in the areas where it provides cable services.
In other areas they are likely to partner with Sprint Nextel.
This would further boost their services to make them a formidable challenger to phone companies such as AT&T and Verizon Communications.
Cox has yet not commented on these rumors in the market. They could come out with an announcement in the coming days.
