Dell Optiplex 960 series business desktops launched

Dell has announced the launch of their Optiplex 960 series of business machines.

The company also announced Optiplex FX160 series of thin clients with flexible configurations for the corporate entities.

Dell Optiplex 960 is a range above their existing Optiplex 755 line of business PCs. It comes loaded with Intel’s latest iteration of VPro technology.

These machines are powered by Intel Core 2 Quad or Duo processors in Intel’s Q45 Express chipset.

Some other highlight features include eSATA, 88 percent efficient power supplies, RAID, DisplayPort, Solid State Drives, and 802.11n wireless networking.

Dell FX160 range comes powered with Intel Atom processors. These are designed for EPEAT and Energy Star specifications.
