Amazon.com offering environment friendly packaging
Amazon.com is doing their bit for the environment this holiday season.
The online retailing giant has announced that they are now working with manufacturers to ensure that the packaging of the products is more environment friendly.
They are also working on making sure that the packaging is user friendly and is easy to open.
Amazon for now is altering the packaging of 19 top-selling products from several manufacturers.
Starting next year this initiative would be expanded to their international portals.
The company said that the aim is to deliver “frustration-free packaging” for all of their products.
They are also aiming to reduce the material in the packaging to avoid wastage.
