Amazon launched Windowshop.com in September
Amazon.com recently launched a new website for shopping Windowshop.com.
They are now updating the website with products and other offerings.
The site is different from the Amazon.com version as it tries to showcase products through visual elements.
The site currently has on offer limited products from segments including music, books, video games and movies.
Buyer is sent to the regular shopping page on Amazon.com once he chooses to buy an item.
A company representative spoke about this new project: “We wanted to try some new and different things.”
