AT&T to provide tethering on iPhone soon
US based mobile service provider AT&T has announced that they would soon provide a way for the Apple iPhone users to use the device as a modem for their laptops and computers.
This functionality is still not available officially.
NetShare was one of the first applications that was removed from the Apple App Store by the company. It was designed to provide similar functionality on the iPhone device.
It remains to be soon on how AT&T aims to provide this functionality. It is also not clear whether it would be made available for free or they would be charging extra for it.
AT&T already charges a lot for the 3G internet connectivity on the iPhone.
