GazoPa: Another interesting search engine project
We are big fans of TinEye which enables you to locate other variants of an image.
GazoPa is another search engine which has similar features.
Hitachi is developing this search technology to enable web users to find similar images to a particular image.
User can submit any kind of image. It can be a hand drawn sketch or a photo. The search service returns similar images from the web matching elements like shape, colors and patterns.
GazoPa is currently in private beta testing though you can easily get an invite by applying on the service.
