Microsoft trying to get mobile deal with Verizon
Google has been busy with their Yahoo deal and they decided to walk out of it.
Microsoft reportedly has been working on stealing Verizon as one of the potential partners of Google to get their own mobile deal with the US based mobile service provider.
Wall Street Journal has reported that Microsoft is trying to get this deal by offering a better package to Verizon.
They want to put their search and other mobile services on the Verizon mobile phones.
Market sources say that Microsoft is offering them a better deal compared to Google and this might lure them to sign it with them.
Mobile services are increasingly becoming crucial for the web service providers. Google in fact decided to launch their own mobile platform which comes loaded with their products. The first phone based on Android is out in the market on T-Mobile. It’s named HTC G1.
