Apple iPhone 3G overtakes Motorola Razr sales in USA
Market research group NPD has revealed that as per their research, Apple iPhone 3G has now become the top selling mobile phone in the US market.
Apple iPhone has displaced Motorola’s Moto Razr from the top spot.
Apple had launched the second generation iPhone earlier this year and it has been a massive success for the company.
Motorola Razr V3 is now the second largest selling phone in the US market. Blackberry Curve was third. LG Rumor was fourth. LG enV2 was fifth.
Apple sells the iPhone in the US market through AT&T. It is available at reduced prices (compared to original) with a two year long contract.
