Windows Mobile 6.5 confirmed
Microsoft has somewhat confirmed that they would release another version of Windows Mobile 6.
Windows Mobile 6.5 is expected to arrive in the market early next year.
Steve Ballmer, CEO Microsoft was quoted as saying to a media personal: “With releases we’ll make this year — releases we’ll make with 6.5 next year, Windows Mobile 7, I think we have a pretty interesting roadmap.”
market experts believe that Windows Mobile 6.5 can be a significant update to the Microsoft’s mobile platform.
The company needs to do something spectacular to generate the interest in this platform. Apple and Research in Motion are gaining market share away from Windows Mobile based smartphones.
