True Move to launch Apple iPhone 3G in Thailand
Thailand is set to join the long list of companies where Apple iPhone 3G would soon be available.
Apple has signed on a deal with True Move to bring the iPhone to this South East Asian country.
True Move said in a statement: “True Move has signed an agreement with Apple to bring the iPhone 3G to Thailand in the coming months.”
True Move is the third-largest mobile phone firm in Thailand.
Thailand is yet to get full fledged 3G networks though the users in the country would be able to use the device to surf the internet via existing EDGE or GPRS networks.
The deal is however not exclusive as Apple could make it available in this market via other operators as well in the future.
