TechCrunch: Apple working on a search engine?
TechCrunch has reported that they have heard inside information that Apple might be working on a search engine.
The report however said that it seems unlikely that Apple would go in competition to Google.
The company instead could launch a new search experience which is likely to be based on an existing search engine.
Since, Apple and Google are already partners in several fields, this partner is likely to be Google itself.
It does not make sense for Apple to launch a search engine company. This market is already very competitive and existing players are finding it hard to come anywhere near to Google.
Google recently launched their G1 mobile phone which competes with Apple iPhone.
