Dell is now taking orders for Mini 12

Dell has began taking orders for their mini notebook model Mini 12.

It is placed somewhere between a Netbook and a regular sized notebook.

The shipping date is said to be around the second week of next month.

The prices of this new model starts at USD 550. It comes powered with a 1.3GHz Intel Atom CPU, 1GB of RAM, and a 40GB hard drive.

Users can get a bigger hard disk or a slightly powerful processor for an extra charge.

It would come with Vista Home Basic edition though Windows XP is likely to arrive as an option in the future.
