India clears launch of Chandrayaan-II
Indian government has now given their approval for the Chandrayaan-II mission.
ISRO plans to launch Chandrayaan-II in 2011-12.
The approval was required to get enough funds for this mission.
Chandrayaan-I has been massively successful for ISRO and is a proud achievement for India.
Chandrayaan-I Project Director Mylswamy Annadurai said in a statement that the success of the mission is the best thing to happen to Indian space research.
