Europeana digital library launched
The European Union has announced the launch of its Europeana digital library.
Europeana digital library is an online destination containing Europe’s cultural heritage.
This online database would consist of millions of digital objects, ranging from film, photographs, paintings, sound files, maps, manuscripts, newspapers, documents and books.
This project would have a staff of 14 people and would cost around 2.5 million euros.
The prototype of this project would be launched today.
