Motorola VE66 features a 5 megapixel camera
US based mobile phone maker Motorola has announced their latest mobile phone Motorola VE66.
Motorola VE66 comes loaded with a 5 megapixel camera. This is their second phone to feature such a powerful camera after Motorola Motozine ZN5.
Motorola VE66 is powered by the company’s Linux operating system.
It features a 2.2 inch high resolution QVGA display with 256K colors.
Motorola said that the phone is powered with a 500 MHz processor.
The camera on the phone comes with autofocus and LED flashlight.
They are launching two variants of this phone. One is quad-band GSM/EDGE capable. The other model will support UMTS and HSDPA.
Tracey Koziol, corporate vice president, Mobile Devices, Motorola spoke about this new model: “The MOTO VE66 delivers on consumer’s demand for more personalized listening and imaging experiences on a mobile phone. With a diverse multi-media experience, the VE66 truly enables you to make a statement and express yourself on your terms.”
