Microsoft Zune gets a price cut as holiday time is here
Microsoft is hoping to generate some hype with a price cut announced on their Zune media players.
Microsoft Zune has till now failed to put any dent in the sales of the Apple iPod range of portable media players.
The 4GB Zune would now sell for USD 99. Zune 8GB would retail for USD 139. The 16GB model would go for USD 179.
The software giant has also reduced the pricing of some of the accessories which are sold for the Zune player.
Zune marketing director Adam Sohn spoke about this announced price cut: “We’re trying to take into consideration what the realities of the market are.”
