Google SMS Search now in India
Search engine giant Google has launched their SMS search service in the Indian market.
The service is free though the user would have to pay for the SMS sent from their mobile devices.
They can conduct searches without requiring an internet package on their mobile devices.
They just have to send the query on 9773300000 mobile number and they get the answer through an SMS message itself.
This search service is not useful to conduct web searches. Instead, it can be used to find out information like movies and eating joints in the locality you are in.
For example, you can send an SMS to the number with the message ‘movie name location’. The service would respond back with the show times in theaters in that area.
It can be used with various parameters including weather information, restaurants, train schedules, currency conversions and calculations.
