Google launches SearchWiki for customized search results for users
Google has now added a new experimental feature for their users.
This new feature is named SearchWiki.
SearchWiki has already been available to selected users but now it is available to all Google Account holders.
This feature enables the user to change the ranking of search results offered to them.
They can elevate, delete, add, and annotate search results.
These changes are remembered for that account and are replicated when the searches are repeated.
Cedric Dupont, Google’s SearchWiki product manager spoke about this feature addition: “You now have more control over what search results appear for a given query on Google. SearchWiki allows you to reorder, remove or add notes to specific web search results so that the next time you do the same search, you’ll see the customized result set that you prefer.”
This feature also enables the user to see the notes other people have saved for a particular search result in general.
