Verizon Wireless launches Samsung Omnia in USA
Samsung Omnia is now on sale in the US market through Verizon Wireless.This is one of the most feature rich phones from Samsung now on offer in US.
Omnia comes loaded with a touchscreen with a customizable user interface.
It comes powered with Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.1 operating system.
Michael Gartenberg, vice president of mobile strategy for Jupitermedia had this to say about this mobile phone: “The Omnia is an interesting device that further demonstrates the tremendous set of choices for consumers looking for high-end or high-feature phones for the holiday season. It also demonstrates the diversity of the Windows Mobile device ecosystem.”
Samsung has loaded the phone with their TouchWiz user interface. It enables the user to totally customize the UI of the device as per their liking.
Omnia also features a full on-screen QWERTY keyboard. Comes with Opera 9.5 Mobile browser.
Another useful feature is the 5.0-megapixel camera with digital zoom and power LED flash. It can also work as a video recorder. The phone also has the usual features like stereo Bluetooth wireless, and Wi-Fi support.
