Virgin UK gets Yahoo mobile services
Yahoo and Virgin Mobile are collaborating to bring Yahoo mobile services to Virgin customers in the UK market.
Yahoo has managed to edge past Google to secure this new deal as they hope to stay competitive in the mobile search and advertising market.
Yahoo representative Mitch Lazar spoke about this latest deal: “We will continue to focus on investing in this area. It falls squarely within our strategy of indispensable starting points.”
The US based internet media giant now has around 70 such partnerships which gives them access to as many as 850 million subscribers.
They are now working on signing similar deals in other markets including France, Germany, Italy and Spain.
