StarHub starts offering femtocell services
Singapore based StarHub is now offering their femtocell service.
This service would enable their subscribers to use their mobile devices to make internet calls which bypasses cellular networks.
This newly launched service would cost the subscribers around US$10 a month with a one year long contract.
They would require to have a mobile-phone and broadband Internet accounts with StarHub for this new service to work.
The company said that each account would support as many as four StarHub mobile phone numbers.
The service would however charge full costs for mobile downloads, MMS messages and mobile surfing.
