AT&T aims to have a single mobile platform based product range
AT&T has said that they aim to have a product range in the future which is powered with a single standard mobile platform.
The company said that mobile devices are likely to dominate computers and laptops on their internet network in the coming years.
This makes it important for them to have less fragmentation in their product range so that it is easier for them to develop new mobile solutions for their customers.
This would not however affect products like the Apple iPhone which are not sold with AT&T labeling.
Nokia Symbian, Google Android are two mobile platforms which could become the choice of mobile OS for AT&T in the coming years.
