Chevrolet Aveo U-VA updated in India
GM has launched an updated edition of Chevrolet Aveo U-VA in the Indian market.
Chevrolet Aveo U-VA is their rival model to Maruti Swift and Hyundai Getz.
GM India said in a statement about their Indian operations: “no jobs are being cut; in fact we may hire 500 more hands before year-end, some for the Bangalore engineering center”.
The company is also working on launching a new small car in the market next year.
GM is struggling in their domestic market though they have shown improved performance here in India.
They have a pretty impressive product range on sale in India and they continue to work towards enhancing it to challenge the market leaders Maruti, Hyundai and Tata Motors.
