Boston Power to provide laptop batteries to HP
Boston Power has announced that they would now supply laptop batteries to HP.
HP would now load some of their laptop models with a new line of “Enviro” batteries.
These batteries are longer-lasting and more sustainable.
The two companies have been testing out these batteries for some time now.
They claim that these batteries are designed to keep keep 80 percent of their initial charge even after three years of usage.
Boston Power claims that these batteries can be charged 1,000 times and get “like new” performance.
HP added that these new batteries would be slightly more expensive compared to general batteries.
They are going to offer then with a three year warranty. Most batteries come with just a year long warranty.
