Ivory Investment Management wants Yahoo to get into a deal with Microsoft
Ivory Investment Management is one of the major stakeholder in Yahoo.
They are now urging Yahoo to get into a deal with Microsoft soon.
They want Yahoo to consider selling their search unit to Microsoft which is working hard on becoming a better challenger to Google in this segment of the market.
They have proposed a deal to Yahoo which would see Microsoft acquiring the Yahoo search engine.
Yahoo would retain bulk of the revenues generated from the search queries on its own site.
They are looking at Microsoft to pay $15 billion for the search platform.
