Home activation back for Apple iPhone 3G
Apple and AT&T have now reintroduced home activation for the Apple iPhone 3G mobile phone.
The first generation iPhone had a similar feature but this service was withdrawn after AT&T decided to subsidize the second generation model.
New customers of iPhone 3G would now be able to order the device online and activate it from their homes.
AT&T said that the users who do not activate the device after a particular time frame would be required to pay the early termination fee.
Apple iPhone 3G has been hugely successful for both the companies. It has become one of the largest selling devices in the US market.
