George Oates one of the high profile firings by Yahoo
Yahoo continues to layoff people from its job operations. The company has removed three members from their popular Flickr photo sharing service.
This include George Oates who is responsible for the design of the service.
Yahoo had acquired Flickr some years back and since then the service has lost many from its original team.
This is bad news for the members of Flickr who might now see massive changes on the service.
We just hope Yahoo does not mess up Flickr any more and it continues to remain the best photo sharing web service online.
We are also hoping that the company provides a way to get their images off the Flickr service now that they are struggling to survive in the business.
The company blocks competing services like Zooomr to help their members import all the photos hosted on Flickr.
