Orascom Telecom to launch Services in North Korea
Egypt’s Orascom Telecom has announced that they are all set to launch 3G mobile services in the North Korean market.
The company plans to invest $400 million in network infrastructure and license fees over the first three years.
These funds would be used to establish the 3G network in this country which is pretty much locked from the world.
Orascom Telecom spokeswoman Rasha Mohamed said in a statement that the services would be launched tomorrow.
It remains to be seen how free this network would be for the users in the country.
