Delta Air Lines launches in flight internet service

Delta Air Lines has announced that they are now making available in flight internet service on six of its planes.

The company has launched Gogo Inflight Internet service and it is currently available in free trial testing phase.

They are aiming to make available this service in more than 300 Delta domestic planes in the coming months.

East Coast travelers would be the first one to benefit from this new service.

Tim Mapes, Delta’s senior vice president of marketing spoke at the launch announcement: “Next year when Gogo is available on our entire domestic mainline fleet, our customers will have access to the most extensive Wi-Fi network in the sky, making the time they spend with us on board even more productive and entertaining.”
