Virgin Media launches 50 mbps internet connection in UK

Virgin Media has announced the launch of a super fast internet connection in the UK market.

The company is now offering a 50 mbps net connection in this market.

This is much faster compared to average speeds offered in the market which hovers around 4-5 mbps.

The company claimed that this new service package would offer almost nine times the average UK speed.

It would cost 51 pounds per month. Customers can get it at a discounted price of 35 pounds a month along with a 11 pound phone line.

Virgin Media Chief Executive Neil Berkett spoke at the launch event: “This service will transform the way people interact and entertain themselves online.”
