Kirk Douglas blogs on MySpace
Kirk Douglas is 92 years old but he has not given up. He has become the latest and perhaps the oldest celebrity to become a member of MySpace.
He is blogging!
Douglas spoke about the power of the internet: “I express my opinion, and I tell them that they don’t have to agree with me because it’s a free country. And their answers are very, very interesting.”
Angie Allgood, director of talent relations at MySpace spoke about the latest celebrity blogger on their network: “All the comments that he gets on his page are so supportive, and people really find him truly inspirational.”
Douglas added: “I take it seriously. Otherwise I wouldn’t do it. I don’t have to do it, I don’t make money. It’s something that gives me personal satisfaction.”
