Rumors: Apple could launch a Netbook in the near future
Steve Jobs recently said that Apple does not know how to make cheap computers which are not a piece of junk.
This has not prevented analysts from predicting that Apple is expected to soon launch a Netbook machine that would be cheaper than their existing products.
Ezra Gottheil of Technology Business Research said in a statement that he expects the company to launch this machine to meet the demand for a cheap Mac in these tough economic conditions.
Jobs had stated that they have a few ideas related to the Netbook segment of the market which is not big enough for them to enter yet.
Analysts say that the company could launch a cheap computing machine that is bigger than the iPhone and has more features and capabilities.
