Apple iPhone 3G refurbished now from AT&T
AT&T has announced that they are now offering refurbished iPhone 3G units to interested customers.
The savings on these used iPhones is not much as the company is just cutting USD 50 from the original price tag.
The 8GB model of the iPhone 3G is on sale for USD 150. The 16GB model is available for USD 250.
Both models would require the user to sign up for a 2 year long AT&T contract.
The company claims that these units are previously owned, but “unused or lightly used”. These units are probably the one which are returned to the company within the first 30 days of usage.
AT&T further said that the units are tested and updated to the latest firmware. But they might have few scratches.
The sad thing is that these devices would come with just a 90 day warranty. Brand new units come with a year long warranty.
