Acer Aspire One now in India
Acer has announced the launch of their Aspire One range of laptops in the Indian market.
The company aims to provide a cheap computing solution for the Indian customer through this new offering.
The base model comes with a Intel Atom processor in addition to 1 GB of RAM and a 160 GB hard drive.
Customers can order the machine with either Linpus Linux Lite or Windows XP Home.
The laptop features a pretty decent 8.9 inches screen. The company claims that the keyboard on this device is ergonomic and is of 89% the size of a regular keyboard.
The battery life of the device is said to be around 3 hours.
The pricing of the device varies from Rs 17,499 for the basic model to around Rs. 20,000 for the fully loaded version.
