T-Mobile USA removes the $18 handset upgrade fee for customers
Good news for T-Mobile USA customers.
The company has announced that they would no longer charge the fee when user decides to upgrade his mobile handset and signs a new contract.
The fee was around USD 18.
T-Mobile USA confirmed that this is a permanent offer and is not just a holiday scheme.
The company would however continue to charge the early-termination fee.
It remains to be seen if this announcement results in similar decisions taken by their rival companies in the US market.
