France Telecom starts repairing of broken undersea Mediterranean cables
France Telecom has said that they have started work on repairing the broken undersea Mediterranean cables which has affected internet services in several regions around the world.
Several internet operators around the world have confirmed that they have rerouted their services to ensure that the connectivity is maintained on their network.
France Telecom has dispatched a repairing ship on Friday night. They believe it would be on location by Monday.
Egypt has seen the worst effect from this cable cut. Internet services in Singapore, Malaysia, India, Pakistan, the United Arab Emirates and Qatar are also said to be affected massively.
It remains to be seen on how long it would take the repair people to fix this problem.
