LG Display to showcase new generation of display panels at CES

LG Display has announced that they would be displaying a new generation of LCD panels at the upcoming CES show in Las Vegas.

This new LCD Module has a display which is as bright indoors as it is outdoors.

This display is designed for use on laptops and notebooks. It gives the user the option to set the settings as per the environment.

The company said that this new generation display can be switched between backlight mode, when indoors, to reflective mode, when outdoors.

When the screen is switched to reflective mode, the laptop would give a better battery life as less power is needed to power the screen.

The company has not said when they plan to put this new display into mass production for use on laptops.
