It becomes harder to blog anonymously in Vietnam
Vietnamese government has now made it tougher for bloggers in the country to hide their identities.
The government has now announced a new initiative that would force the online service providers to provide data on users.
Vietnamese government had said recently that they wanted to keep a tight control on blogs in the country.
They are also going to interact with the search engine giants operating in the region to cooperate “in creating the best and healthiest environment for bloggers.”
Reporters Without Borders incidentally list Vietnam as among the “enemies of the Internet” with censorship practices “almost as thorough as those of its Chinese big sister.”
Overall a bad news for the freedom lovers in Vietnam.
