Nokia in trouble in India for showing Kashmir as part of Pakistan on Nokia Maps
World’s leading mobile phone maker Nokia seems to be in trouble in India.
A Nokia Priority outlet in Jabalpur was attacked by protesters from Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha activists.
The problem is a version of Nokia Maps utility which shows Kashmir to be a part of Pakistan.
The attackers damaged property and burnt down phones worth thousand of rupees.
Nokia has responded that they source all their maps from Navteq which has the approval for developing international maps from the concerned authorities.
It remains to be seen if these attacks against Nokia would intensify in the coming days.

I think people in India should start boycotting the products of NOKIA and as an Indians should show some respect to our country because if these international companies can just get away by apologising then tommorrow some other company will do the same and probably apologise. We can’t let that happen and we as Indians should show some self respect so that in future even by mistake those things wouldn’t happen.

Every one this world has self RESPECT and other should realize this fact and should not try to ruin this RESPECT.

It is more than a matter of humanity than of personal ego. I think INDIA must know that Kashmir is the property of Kashmiri people. Despite the fact that Kashmir has always favored Pakistan, we Pakistani still show a liberal side of the image.

Kashmir was an integral part of India and it will remain forever. You dare to comment on India coz we are a liberal nation. We don’t attack like rats the way you do. You have a history of defeats and internal conflicts. Forget about Kashmir and better save your ass as talibans are looking for you. They will teach you a new definition of freedom and liberty soon… ha ha ha :P
