HTC: Android mobile sales are affecting sales of Windows Mobile smartphones!
Market sources are claiming that HTC has admitted that Google Android powered mobile devices are hurting the sales of devices powered with Windows Mobile operating system.
HTC is the world’s largest manufacturer of Windows Mobile smartphones.
They are also the manufacturer of G1 which is the first smartphone to be powered with Google Android mobile OS.
Google G1 is currently the only Android device available in the market. It is targeted at consumer segment while Windows Mobile dominates the corporate sector.
HTC is also said to be working on newer Android phones which might be labeled G2 and G3.
Motorola, Samsung and other mobile phone manufacturers are also working on their own Android powered devices.
