Music companies planning a YouTube rival

US based media giants have already launched Hulu which has become quite successful in challenging YouTube in this segment of the video sharing market.

Now, music companies are considering similar plans to launch a web service that would compete with Google owned YouTube service.

YouTube has already lost content provided by Warner Music as they could not reach on a new settlement.

YouTube is said to be in renewed talks with EMI, Sony and Universal. If the talks fail, YouTube would lose more content.
