FNAC offering unlocked iPhone 3G in France
Apple had launched their iPhone 3G mobile device in France through a deal with Orange.
The deal was exclusive and enabled Orange to sell the device locked and with a contract.
This was against the government policies and it has been declared illegal.
The case is being fought in the courts.
This has enabled French retailer FNAC to sell the device unlocked and without a contract in this market.
Apple iPhone 3G is on sale in this edition for:
EUR799: 8GB
EUR899: 16GB
