Apple rumored to be developing a larger screen iPod Touch
TechCrunch has reported that Apple is working on a larger screen iPod Touch that can effectively be sold as a netbook from Apple.
This new device could feature a 7 or 9 inch screen.
The report said that Apple could launch this device sometime next year.
TechCrunch added that the company is currently in talks with OEMs in Asia about mass production of this new device.
Apple is said to be planning to launch a device like this for years. But there was little market for it.
With the launch of the Apple App Store, the company now has a solid mobile platform that could be expanded to a bigger iPod Touch device.
If Apple does launch this device, they could again revolutionize yet another industry with their own standards.
