Take-Back: Nokia India announces mobile recycling program
India’s leading mobile brand Nokia has announced that they are launching a mobile recycling program named take-back.
This campaign would start from tomorrow.
The program is designed to generate awareness in the Indian market about recycling of mobile phones.
Apparently, a lot of Indian mobile users have no idea that old mobile handsets can be recycled.
Nokia has announced that they would accept used handsets and accessories such as charges and handsets.
These products can be of any brand.
Customers can submit these old products at any of the recycling bins set up across Nokia Priority Dealers and Nokia Care Centers.
Nokia India said: “The take-back campaign aims to increase awareness of the concept of recycling. If people no longer need their mobile devices, they can bring it back to Nokia for recycling and it can put it to good use – 100 percent of the materials in the phones can be recovered and used to make new products or generate energy.”
