Microsoft: Zune problems should be over by now

Software giant Microsoft has stated that the problems reported with the 30GB Zune player should be over by now.

One of the models of the player was affected by a bug which caused it to hang due to 2008 being a Leap Year.

Microsoft advised the owners to discharge the stuck devices and let them recharge completely.

The company said that most of the owners of the affected devices have reported that the problem is fixed by now as the new year has arrived.

Microsoft spokesman Brian Eskridge said in a statement: “It worked for me and it seems like it’s working for customers. From the limited time I’ve looked on the forums, it seems customers have had good success with it.”

Microsoft launched their Zune player to take on the Apple iPod.
