Samsung to showcase 6.5-millimeters thin TV at CES
South Korean tech giant Samsung is scheduled to display a flat panel television set that is just 6.5-millimeters thick.
This new product would be displayed at the upcoming International Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.
Few details were revealed about this product. The LED powered television set is said to be between 6.5mm and 7mm across its width.
The company claims that this would be the thinnest product of its kind in the world.
Philips recently showcased a 8mm prototype LCD television at the IFA electronics show in Berlin last year.
Sony on the other hand is selling a 9.9mm thick LCD TV in stores already.
